Typically April showers don’t bring May flowers (at least in my experience) in the East Bay. This April has been a mix of below season temps couple with rain and some previews of early summer. One day its 75 degrees, the next it doesn’t even make it out of the high 50s and its raining. Literally, the other night we finished dinner with the screen open because it was so lovely, packed up the stroller for a before bedtime walk and by the time we got out the door it was raining and not just drizzle, RAIN. Good thing we have a rain cover for the sroller. I threw routine out the window in April (which is difficult for me) because we never knew what to expect. Now, lest I be mistaken for a wimp, I lived in the Pacific Northwest for four years. I expected this kind of weather when I lived there but here this seems quite unusual to me. Claire and I did get creative about how to spend our time in both warmer and cooler/wetter weather.

My first attempt at playdough…turned out pretty good, its even hanging around a week later.
She called the playdough her “blue”..ok.
and shine…
blowing bubbles started out good but turned into a pouting session when we wouldn’t let her hold the cup of bubbles.
We now spell the P-O-O-L unless we are going outside to play in it immediately…you can imagine why…oh yes we are already exerting our will that way…yes we are!
There she is folks, She-RA junior…loves lifting big things, heavy things, ackward things…
